You want to know who is behind Lucky Lou and what we are doing here? Let me tell you a little bit about us.

The corporate philosophy of the people here at Pets Nature is "We understand animals". That's easy for me as a cat, of course, so at least with cats. Our managing directors and their employees understand dogs as well as us cats, because they feel deeply connected to animals.

I also know that they donate a lot of food and money to animal welfare, which I think is really mega cool! Many employees also volunteer to help with animal welfare in their spare time. That's what I call heart and soul. And that's exactly what I feel everywhere here at Pets Nature: love for animals and idealism.

Because animal welfare is a top priority here, my species-appropriate cat food also meets the highest standards. Our veterinarian has developed it with me and other feed experts from high-quality ingredients. Only carefully selected production facilities are allowed to manufacture it for us. The high quality and absolute compliance with our recipes are continuously ensured, which is very important to us. The well-being of your cat is our matter of the heart.

Oh yes, and I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you. It goes to all the many incorruptible, wonderful cats who live with our employees. They were happy to test my premium cat food for me, it was a feast with all the delicious varieties, I tell you. All these office dogs here were not the right jury there, even if they were also keen on my food. In any case, we were all agreed: So get to my food!

WHERE DO I COME FROM?

I was born by an idea and brought to life by a pen and paper.

My character was formed with a lot of humor and fun like dough and at some point I could not be imagined without me from the minds of my creators. I came, I saw and I stayed hehe.

Now I stand on my own two feet and have developed my great cat food with the same dedication as my creators. I just want to give cats as varied a life as I got.

THE BRAINS BEHIND MY RECIPES

The ingredients for my high-quality cat food I have of course selected myself - only the best and tastiest comes to me in the bowl! I then discussed my ideas for you in detail with veterinarians and nutrition experts. And how did we develop my cat food? Quite easily, by looking at what we cats eat naturally. Because that's what our digestion is designed for. So my team of experts developed super digestible, ingenious recipes with the truly best taste for me.

The Brains behind Lucky Lou

When I, Lucky Lou, was not yet born, Martin Schupp founded Pets Nature GmbH. With a lot of idealism and conviction, he focused on high-quality, species-appropriate food from the very beginning. In 2002 Christian Numsen joined the company and since then the two of them have been a great team and together they have made their company great over the years.

Interview

Martin: For me, loving animals means knowing and respecting their nature and natural needs. Our product development always focuses on these aspects. Of course, we have our products tested by responsible animal lovers together with their pets for acceptance and delicious taste. We reject animal testing for the development of our brands as a matter of principle!

Chris: A high-quality feed can be seen in the selection of ingredients and the proper production. The individual components must contain all the important nutrients and vital substances in total. The preparation is done gently so that these are preserved in the finished products. Only in this way can we support the health and vitality of our four-legged friends through good nutrition (by the way, this also applies to two-legged friends ;-)). You are what you eat!

Martin: We want to enable animal lovers to make a good comparison and an informed decision through transparent presentation and open declarations. We have full confidence in our products and it is important to us that our customers have this at all times.

Chris: Wherever possible, we prefer production locations that ensure short transport routes for reasons of sustainability. We produce Lucky Lou mainly in Germany. Some varieties/lines come from Spain. Here there is direct access to the Atlantic Ocean for fish and seafood. From our point of view, it makes ecological sense to transport the finished product and not raw materials that require extensive refrigeration.

Martin: Even the best food only contributes optimally to health if it is ideally suited to the individual situation of the respective animal. Our team has many years of experience and expertise acquired over many years on this extensive subject area. All of them are happy to share this important knowledge with our customers.
